Keylea Brothers- Premier Athletics Lexington
Keylea Brothers is with Premier Athletics and a senior at Lexington Catholic High School where she will graduate in May. She has been involved in gymnastics since 2000, when she went to a moms and tots class in Jackson, TN. Keylea started competing at the age of six. Her favorite event is the uneven bars.
A few of her gymnastics accomplishments include:
Keylea is thankful for the many friends she has made through the sport of gymnastics and enjoys reflecting back over the many good times. She says that the sport of gymnastics has made her stronger physically and mentally allowing her to achieve her goals. She says that learning new skills can be tough and sometimes painful, but in the end the results are rewarding.
She would like to thank her many coaches over the years and a special thanks to Lauren Snowden for her support, confidence and guidance in helping her continue her gymnastics career at the next level. She would also like to thank her family and friends that have supported her for so many years, especially her sister Mayce and her mother (Beverly) and father (John), who, without them none of this would have been possible.
Riley Caudill- Legacy Gymnastics
Riley is currently a Level 10 gymnast at Legacy Gymnastics. She has been in the sport of gymnastics since the age of 4. Highlights of her career include Regional qualifier 2009-2015; Level 9 Eastern National Qualifier in 2013, placing 3rd on bars. Riley is graduating from Lexington Catholic High School with a 4.0 gpa. She is undecided on the university she will be attending in the fall. She plans to pursue a career in the health/medical field. Riley's favorite quote is “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”

Kimberly Dumstorf- Champion Gymnastics

Favorite Thing about Gymnastics: Mastering a new skill and learning new things
Worst Thing about Gymnastics: Frustration with a bad day and dealing with injuries
College Plans: I’m still deciding but the finalists include University of South Carolina, Clemson and North Carolina State

What is your favorite thing about yourself?: I typically think about others before myself

Something we do not know about you?: This February, I’m traveling over 3000 miles from home for a mission trip to Nicaragua

Best moment in your gymnastic career so far?: Making great memories with my teammates at Super Camp
Greatest Gymnastics achievement: Being floor champion at level 8 at both State and Regionals
Advice to future Gymnasts: Never give up. You’ll definitely have some bad days, but try to cherish the moments with your friends in the gym. Keep working hard, don’t be afraid to set goals, and you’ll be happy that you did!
Sarah Kirchhoff- Top Flight Gymnastics
Sarah began gymnastics when she was 9 years old. This is her seventh year competing at Top Flight, where she was the Level 4 vault and bars State Champion, Level 5 vault, bars and All-Around State Champion.
Sarah is a senior at Villa Madonna Academy in Villa Hills, KY where she is a member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society maintaining above a 4.0 GPA. Sarah has taken four Advanced Placement classes, one dual credit class for college credit and 10 honors classes. A very well rounded young woman, Sarah is involved in numerous extra-curricular activities at school such as Student Council and serving as Senior Class Treasurer.
Sarah does a great job coaching lower levels of team and recreational classes, and hopes to continue working at Top Flight after graduation.
Upon graduation Sarah will attend the University of Cincinnati to pursue a degree in Biochemistry followed by medical school and a career in pediatric medicine.

Shelby Nellums- Champion Gymnastics

Advice to future Gymnasts: no matter how hard it gets do not give up. You will feel like you want to and just want to quit but keep going. You will fall you will hurt yourself you will cry you will laugh but in the end it is all worth it 110%
Lexy Rieger – Top Flight Gymnastics
Lexy began tumbling when she was just 4 years old and competing artistic gymnastics at age 8. She placed 1st at the Kentucky State meet in levels 4 – 6. Lexy faced a few injuries at level 7 and was out of competition for two seasons. She continued to practice and was able to return from her injury to compete level 8.
Lexy is a senior at Beechwood High School in Ft. Mitchell, KY where she is a member of National Honor Society maintaining a 4.5 GPA. A very well rounded young woman, Lexy is involved in numerous extra-curricular activities at school such as Student Council, Future Business Leaders of America, National Forensics League, Speech and Debate Team and was named to the Regional Youth Leadership Program. Lexy was selected to attend Kentucky Governor’s Scholars last summer and spent five weeks studying at Morehead State University.
Upon graduation Lexy will pursue a degree in Chemistry followed by a career in dermatology. Where ever the road leads Lexi for school she would like to compete in tumbling or cheer and coach gymnastics to the next generation of competitive gymnasts.
Heidi Sand- Top Flight Gymnastics
Heidi’s gymnastics career began when she was just 3 years old.
While attending Larry A. Ryle High School Heidi has maintained a GPA above 4.0. Heidi has taken four Advanced Placement Classes, while taking an active role in several other extra-curricular activities. She is a member of the National Honor Society, English Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), HOSA Healthcare and Pep Club.
Heidi’s expectation of excellence does not waiver from her academics, as she applies the same hard-work and dedication to her love of gymnastics. Currently practicing an average of 20 hours per week, Heidi has competed as a USA-Gymnastics Level 10 gymnast for three years.
Heidi’s 2015 gymnastics accomplishments:
· Level 10 Junior Olympic National Qualifier
· Top Flight Team Leader Award
· Level 10 Region 5 Qualifier
· Level 10 Kentucky State Beam Champion
After graduation, Heidi will be attending the Air Force Academy Preparatory School on a full gymnastics scholarship
